MFA Studio Move-in

I have been planning for this since I decided to finish my undergrad degree at age 29. As an older student, I knew what I was working towards, even if it only existed in an abstract form. But here we are - a week before I start my MFA program at the Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University. It’s real - and I’m sort of terrified…in a good way.

Easy-peasy, I feel queasy.

Image Description: A photo taken at the top of the stairs on the third floor of the Tyler School of Art + Architecture - the painting department. An almost square window looks out on to the grey concrete roof of the building. In the background are green tree tops, and the a small skyline of the Temple University Campus. The maroon and white Temple logo can be see in the distance, hanging on the side of a tall college building. Below the window is a canvas painted with softly-edged horizontal stripes of blue, green, white, and red. In black text the word “Painting” in placed in the center of the canvas.
